I have hunted on several continents throughout my life, spent time in the hunting grounds with people from all walks of life, and experienced countless extraordinary moments along the way.

But there was one thing that always touched me deeply:

The change that happens when women travel together.

Not just while hunting. But far beyond that.

For years, many women have harbored a desire to travel to Africa, to witness the red deer rut, or to stand in a landscape they’ve only ever seen in pictures. And yet, this desire often remains a distant “someday” for a long time.

That's exactly why I launched the ARTIO Ladies Only Journeys.

More Than Just a Hunting Trip

These trips are neither a course nor a competition. It doesn't matter whether you've been hunting for decades or just recently got your hunting license. What matters is your willingness to experience new things.

Traveling together means sharing experiences, learning from one another, and creating memories that often extend far beyond the hunt itself. Many participants arrive alone at first—and fly home with new friendships.

Why I personally guide these trips

Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of accompanying women on their first international hunting trips, as they harvested their first game abroad, on their first trip to Africa, or as they fulfilled long-cherished lifelong dreams.

In the process, I've learned that it's often not the hunt itself that takes effort, but rather the first step.

Having someone by your side who knows the destination, organizes the logistics, and has already hosted countless hunting trips around the world instills both confidence and a sense of freedom.

That’s why I personally accompany only a few select “Ladies Only” trips each year. Not because it’s necessary from an organizational standpoint, but because I want to experience these special moments for myself.
